Dravidian > Southern > Tamil–Kannada > Tamil–Kodagu > Toda–Kota > Toda
Toda is a Dravidian language spoken in the Nilgiri Hills area of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the Dravidian language with the most unique sounds, as well as some that are very rare across the world. It is written in the Tamil script, but it does a bad job of properly transcribing Toda's entire phoneme inventory.
